I remember dumping alot of quarters into this one... That's probably the only reason whey i wanted it so bad, and also the fact that it's an Vector game and it's Atari. Well all i have to say so far is.. What a pain in the ass this one has been.. I purchased this one as the 3rd game in my 3 game transaction with the Tempest and Defender deal. Cosmetically, it is in pretty good shape, and just needs a cleaning. After diagnosing the electronics, the boardset has some problems and is not working. It was also missing the Cardboard Graphics bezel that goes around the monitor. So i am off to get a working boardset and monitor bezel. There are apparently hard to come by for i looked, and looked and looked... Below is just a head shot of my Battlezone...

Here is a full frontal shot. The control panel is in excellent shape. One of the tank joystick controls is not "Tight" feeling as the plastic centering ring has cracked. I will need to replace that even though it would be fully functional if working, but it just wouldn't self center itself properly....

Here is a naked ass shot of Battlezone with the A/R II Powersupply and  Main 2 PCB Boards taken out. I sis some minor clean up work in there, but it wasn't to bad..

Below is the typical Left and Right hand view shot so you may see the side art... It is also missing the "Optional" front step riser for short people to step on. It came with the original game and was stored in the back of the machine if not needed by the original route operator of the game.I have seen these around with complete machines for sale. I hope to get one to "complete" the Battlezone to keep the evil Atari spirits from haunting me further....

Once i get a working boardset running I will include some more pictures of everything installed and running.... Also a great guy in the arcade collecting community, hooked me up with the cardboard graphics monitor bezel that  that was missing and that i was looking for. Thanks Derek..
